Cherishing memories as they slowly fade
Will he forget me one day?
My heart aches as I see him suffer
I cling to my rock, to hope
Fleeting phone calls, expressing love
Across the world, so far away
Salty tears flow down my face
As I cry, please don't forget me.
So touching, So moving dear Libby I really feel for you and pray!!
ReplyDeleteThat's tough going. It's a fear I have that one of my parents may one day be diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I hope you stay strong and know the love you received from your Dad will never be forgotten.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comment Eoghan. I will definitely try to stay strong. It's certainly a terrible illness and I hope your parents won't be affected by it.
